8INT. THE LIGHTHOUSE – THE LAMP ROOM – DAY8
The round room atop a white tower. Books on every surface. Maps scratched into the curved walls by a talon.
A brass telescope at the window. A peat stove. A chipped blue-and-white teacup.
The great lamp turns on clockwork, by hand. No pipe comes into this room. There is no board.
PRÓFESSOR DIMMUR, a snowy owl, does not look up.
DIMMUR: This is precisely what happened in 1912. And 1847. And, if we're being thorough, roughly 930 AD.
THE VILLAGE is back down the stairs. THE FLAT is below the headland. PULL BACK shows the set.
